Glass is a complex medium in which volume, temperature and time are as essential to the art as the design itself. I love exploring form, color and texture and am fascinated by the endless variety they enable.

In 2006, as my home was being renovated, the old front door was destined for the dumpster.  Instead, I took my first class in kiln fired glass and designed glass pieces to replace the inset wood panels. And so my admiration for glass became my passion.

 

I founded La Hoya Glass Artists, a co-op glass studio, with Rosanne Taylor and Mary Garcia. And continue to study and expand my skills and knowledge.
